Central Phoenix Newest Eagle Scouts: Leading with Purpose and Service

Connor, Jacob, Julian, and Daniel showcased outstanding leadership and dedication, leading their teams through impactful projects benefiting our community.

From building raccoon houses to creating wilderness portals, these young adults logged 600 service hours, making us incredibly proud. Special thanks to their support networks and volunteers who guided them. Let’s celebrate their achievement and commitment to service! Check out their inspiring journey:

Congratulations to the newest Eagle Scouts in Grand Canyon Council, BSA’s Central Phoenix Metro area. In their unique ways, they refurbished, built and rebuilt, painted, dug, hammered, gathered, distributed, corralled, and, most importantly, led their teams of Scouts and volunteers through completing their projects.

These four young adults logged about 600 service hours, and we are so proud of each one of them. Congratulations go out to the following from left to right:

  • Connor R. Troop 446: Built Raccoon Houses for the Southwest Conservation Center.
  • Jacob D. Troop 446: Created Wilderness Portals for the Mt. Baldy Wilderness.
  • Julian B. Troop 201: Built Raccoon Houses for the Southwest Conservation Center.
  • Daniel C. Troop 747: Built a Ramada at Fallen Feathers Bird Rehabilitation Center.

Of course, these Scouts gained this experience with the help of their parents, friends, family members, and dedicated Scouter volunteers to help guide them along their journey. We also thank our dedicated volunteers for participating to help facilitate their Board of Review and, St. Simon and Jude Church and Scoutmaster Jim Petersen from Troop 148 for hosting the special gathering. Congratulations to our incredible Eagle Scouts! You did it!
