Honoring Their Achievements: Nearly 500 Service Hours, Community Impact, and a Heartfelt Thank You to Supporters and Volunteers
Congratulations to our three new Eagle Scouts here in the Central Community, for having reached their goal during the month of July 2024. These fine young men have a bright future ahead of them, and we thank them for their patriotism and service to our community and nation! These 3 young adults logged almost 500 service hours to our community, congratulations as follows, pictured left to right:
- Luis M. Troop 147- White Tanks Regional Park Trail repair and re-establishment
- Wyatt M. Troop 441- Refurbished and refreshed a local California Condor enclosure
- Manuel G. Troop 329- Coordinated and led the installation of a full size flag pole at his school
None of this is possible without the support, guidance and love from their parents, friends, family members, and dedicated Scouter volunteers to help them along their journey. We also thank YOU, our dedicated volunteers, for participating on their Board of Review, to Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral Parish and School for hosting, and Jim Petersen from Troop 148 for facilitating our special gathering. Congratulations to our incredible Eagle Scouts! You did it!
OPPORTUNITY: If you are interested in serving on an Eagle Board of Review, we meet every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:45-8:15 pm. As one of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities in Scouting, experiencing the journey of a Scout from Cub to Eagle and celebrate their accomplishments alongside their family is truly the best job ever!
