Celebrating Excellence: Four New Eagle Scouts in Central Community Log 500 Service Hours

Honoring Dedication and Service: Meet the Young Leaders Shaping Our Community's Future

Congratulations to our four new Eagle Scouts in the Central Community for achieving their goal in August 2024. These outstanding young men have a bright future ahead, and we thank them for their patriotism and service to our community and nation! These four young adults logged nearly 500 service hours for our community. Congratulations to the following individuals (from left to right in the photo):

  • Dominic M. – Troop 340 (Sensory Boards)
  • Marco F. – 147 (Bike Charging Station)
  • John F. – Troop 6 (LovePup Storage Shed)
  • Samuel M.- Troop 441 (Hunkapi Farms Merchandise Trailer Restoration)

None of this would be possible without the support, guidance, and love from their parents, friends, family members, and dedicated Scouter volunteers who have helped them along their journey. We also extend our gratitude to YOU, our committed volunteers, for participating in their Board of Review, to Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral Parish and School for hosting, and to Jim Petersen from Troop 148 for facilitating our special gathering. Congratulations to our remarkable Eagle Scouts! You did it!!!

**OPPORTUNITY** If you are interested in serving on an Eagle Board of Review, we meet every third Thursday of the month from 6:45 to 8:15 PM. This is one of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities in Scouting, as you will have the chance to experience the journey of a Scout from Cub to Eagle and celebrate their accomplishments alongside their family. It is truly the best job ever! For more information, please contact Jason Bowles, Central Community Chair, at jbowles@sonoranls.com or 602-615-4493.
