Adventure Planning and Exciting New Challenges Await Venturing Crew 2041
Venturing Crew 2041 is excited to share their recent planning outing and all the fun they have in store for the year ahead! Cameron Dick, Venturing Participant, summarized the weekend for us:
“Recently, Venturing Crew 2041 explored Flagstaff while planning our upcoming year of events and outings. The venturing Scouts bonded with new members while enjoying pizza and indoor rock climbing. Then, we set up our dispersed campsite and brainstormed new locations and high adventure activities to tackle. Our calendar includes exciting adventures such as backpacking, canyoneering, skiing, and snowshoeing. We also planned fundraising and volunteering events, including a Christmas tree lot and a pancake breakfast at First United Methodist Church, where we hold our meetings. Additionally, we are excited to learn watercraft safety and canoeing skills on the Colorado River and Lake Saguaro as we prepare for our upcoming Northern Tier trip in June 2025! It was a great weekend, and we’re looking forward to another action-packed year of venturing!”
