We are pleased to share that Dave Alexander has offered to purchase a building that will be located at the Heard Scout Pueblo and will become the “Dave Alexander Scout Shop”. Our long-term vision is to build a campus at the Heard to include a new Service Center, Scout Shop, and other facilities, so this will be the first step in that direction.
We anticipate the new Scout Shop will be open for business early in the first quarter and, in the interim, we’ve created an online option through our website to handle basic unit needs for advancement. All BSA Supply items are available through the Tucson Scout Shop until our new Scout Shop opens, but you can get your key advancement items directly through GCC now.
Please remember that our online Scout Shop only stocks advancement items, handbooks, and Pinewood Derby kits. All other scouting items may be purchased through the Tucson Scout Shop.
We accept either credit/debit cards or you may pay by check or unit account. If you prefer to pay by check or unit account, please be sure to select the option to “Mail in payment “and include your unit type and number and payment preference in the comments section.
We are required to collect the Advancement Report prior to releasing any BSA advancements so don’t forget to email your Advancement Report to gcc.membership@scouting.org so we can release your order.
