2024 Friends of Scouting Campaign
The Friends of Scouting Campaign is the Council’s single largest source of funding, accounting for 25% of our funding each year. Parents, volunteers, friends, and businesses contribute to help provide local programs and activities throughout the Council territory. Donating to the Friends of Scouting campaign ensure high-quality Scouting programs for every youth.
2024 Friends of Scouting Campaign
The Friends of Scouting Campaign is the Council’s single largest source of funding, accounting for 25% of our funding each year. Parents, volunteers, friends, and businesses contribute to help provide local programs and activities throughout the Council territory. Donating to the Friends of Scouting campaign ensure high-quality Scouting programs for every youth.
James E. West Fellowship
The James E. West Fellowship is a national recognition for individuals who contribute $1,000 or more in cash or securities to our Council’s endowment fund. This contribution should be in addition to your annual Friends of Scouting gift, as annual operations are always the priority. Organizations or individuals may also contribute in honor of someone. The award is presented to the honoree with a lapel pin and a uniform square knot.
James E. West Fellowship
The James E. West Fellowship is a national recognition for individuals who contribute $1,000 or more in cash or securities to our Council’s endowment fund. Arizona Tax Credit
The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit allows you to donate to a qualifying charitable organization such as Grand Canyon Council, BSA Outreach, LLC. to receive dollar for dollar tax credit on your state tax and claim it on your federal tax.
Matching Gifts
Many companies and organizations offer to match charitable donations or volunteer time. Be sure to speak to your Human Resources department, as they could be willing to participate.
Memorial Tribute Celebration Gifts
Memorial Tribute Gifts allows donors to honor someone on a birthday, special occasion, anniversary or in memory of someone. These gifts remain in perpetuity to ensure that Scouting is available for the youth of our future generations.
Charitable Bequest
You designate our organization as the beneficiary of your asset by will, trust or beneficiary designation form. A charitable bequest is one of the easiest and most flexible ways that you can leave a gift to Grand Canyon Council, Boy Scouts of America that will make a lasting impact.
Car Donation
One Car One Difference is helping you get rid of vehicles you no longer have a use for and donating the proceeds straight the Grand Canyon Council! This vehicle donation program is an excellent way to support your local Scouts. To recognize the Boy Scouts of America through an outright gift is a great service to your community’s youth. This can be done through cash, stock, tangible property, homes, land, farms, bargain sales, gift sales, life estates, and IRA charitable rollovers.

Additional Giving Opportunities
Boy Scouts of America Specialty License Plate. The specialty license plate is a way to show pride in Scouting and provide revenue for local councils. The Grand Canyon Council will receive $17 of the annual $25 specialty license plate fee.
