Supplemental training all Scouting Leaders including Unit Leaders, District/Council Leaders, and Commissioners.

The Grand Canyon Council is pleased to present the University of Scouting, representing a full day of supplemental training for all Scouters.

The University will include three distinct Colleges:

• College of Commissioner Science – Training for Unit Commissioners, Roundtable Commissioners, and Administrative Commissioners
• Baden Powell College – Training for Unit leadership including Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, and Venturing programs
• College of District and Council Studies – Training for District and Council operations committee members including Membership, Fund Development, and Program groups.

For this year’s program, we will utilize an all virtual format by means of Zoom Events. Each registrant will be able to set his or her own schedule for the day, taking the courses desired to achieve a degree target, or otherwise meet personal goals for supplemental training. Requirements and recommendations associated with each of three Colleges are included in this catalog. The lunch session will be a special session where we will honor outstanding volunteers in our Council.
